You can maximize the healing benefits of ketamine by combining infusions with the support and guidance of a Wellness Coach. Although the term “psychotherapy” is used in the title, ketamine infusions at Reclaim Wellness Group are guided by a Wellness Coach. Ketamine promotes neuroplasticity and the reorganization of neural networks and pathways in the brain.
This is further enhanced through the guidance of a Wellness Coach helping the patient break through the barriers and defenses they have historically struggled to penetrate.
Reclaim Wellness Group is one of the only clinics in the region offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and/or coaching! When traditional methods of mental health treatments for various conditions meet their limitations, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy stands out as a beacon of hope for those grappling with profound emotional struggles.
Our Wellness Coaches happen to be licensed therapists, counselors, or psychologists in the Commonwealth of Kentucky with training and experience in diagnosing and treating emotional problems. However, the services they will provide as a coach is not the same as what one might expect in their role as a therapist. While there are some similarities between coaching and psychotherapy, they are very different services and it is important to understand what makes them so different. These differences will be provided to you in written form, and will be discussed with you during your initial consultation. Unlike conventional therapies, coaching during a ketamine infusion does not follow a standard talk-based approach. Your Wellness Coach is there to assist you as you communicate with our medical staff, help you feel safe and grounded during the infusion, and foster a sense of acceptance, self-compassion, and healing.
